A SET of woolly royals have appeared in a Malvern Link shop window to mark the Queen's reign becoming the longest in British history.

The royal family members have taken up residence in the window of the wool Shack, Worcester Road, whilst they await the celebrations nest week.

They are the work of shop owner Kaz Matthews and members of her Wool Shack Knitting Group, and the royals depicted include Prince Harry, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, Kate, Duchess of Cambridge, Prince Charles and Prince William.

On Wednesday, September 9, the Queen will become the longest reigning British, when her reign of 63 years and 216 days eclipses that of her great-grandmother Queen Victoria.

The Wool Shack Knitting Group, meet every Tuesday at 6.30pm in the Gloster Arms, Merton Road, Malvern Link. Both new and experienced knitters and crocheters are welcome.
