SCOUTS from Worcestershire are currently enjoying a once-in-a-lifetime experience in Japan at the 23rd World Scout Jamboree.
Scout leader Chris Ruffe from Unit 43, Apples and Pears, sent these pictures of the group enjoying visits to the Tokyo 'Statue of Liberty' and outside the gateway at Miyanoura sub camp in the Yamaguchi Jamboree site.
A group of 36 youngsters from across the county have spent more than 12 months planning, raising funds and training to take part in the World Scout Jamboree.
He said: "Hereford and Worcester Scouts are at present basking in upper 30 degree temperatures in Yamaguchi, Japan.
"We are having a great time, having spent time exploring Tokyo, before moving to our main Jamboree camp - where we have visited Hiroshima, local schools and participated in global adventures on site.
"We move to Kagoshima on the weekend to spend time with Japanese scout families."
