THE React Poetry Project will hold its first free poetry workshop at The Hive in Worcester.
The event will take place on Friday, August 7, from 11am to 3pm.
A spokesman said: "The project, supported by O2 Think Big and CAGED Arts, has been developed by young people, aged from 16 to 24, to encourage creative people in Worcestershire to consider how they use their voice to change the world.
"The Project has already helped emerging artists such as Worcester’s Holly Daffurn, whose piece For Russia with Love, originally commissioned for the React Poetry YouTube channel, was recently screened at a major event in Brighton. "
The workshop is free and open to all, from seasoned poets to those who barely look at a pen.
Refreshments and stationery is provided, but places are limited.
Booking is at www.caged-arts.com
