BRING the whole family along to The Elgar Birthplace Museum this summer for our fabulous Around the World holiday events! With special events spread across the summer holidays, the Museum will be brimming with loads of fun crafts and activities, games and a special flag trail for all the family to enjoy. With so much going on, The Elgar Birthplace Museum is the place to entertain the kids over the holidays. Better still, all this is free with Museum admission.

Each week we will visit a different country that Elgar travelled to, such as Italy, when we’ll be making Italian food with Red Hen Cookery School, or Turkey, when families can create art inspired by Turkish designs. We’ll be showcasing six countries, so there’ll be a wide variety of activities to take part in.

Throughout the Summer Holiday, families can explore the Museum with our fun Find the Flags Trail; play traditional garden games; or try our outdoor musical instruments- all free with Museum admission.

All activities are suitable for children aged five years and up and are free with admission. Plus, visitors can Gift Aid their admission to get a free annual pass.

Lily Dean, Graduate Trainee said “We can’t wait to welcome families to The Elgar Birthplace Museum over the summer holidays. There will be so much for everyone to do, plus with an annual pass, families can visit each week to discover all the different countries!”
