BURGLARS who raided a home in a Worcestershire village and may have been looking for jewellery say police.

In total the burglars stole £200 worth of Tesco vouchers but police believe they may have been looking for jewellery.

The suspects, believed to be Eastern Europeans, were spotted leaving a home in Pitchers Hill, Wickhamford near Evesham on Thursday following the burglary at 11.30am.

Two male suspects were seen leaving the property through the front door and walking to nearby bus stop.

At the bus stop they were seen talking to a female who was waiting for a bus which runs on the route from Willersley to Evesham.

The female was wearing a green uniform top with writing on the back.

The two males are described as olive skinned possibly Eastern European, aged 30-40, tall and slim with short dark hair, both were wearing dark ash coloured t-shirts. One of the males had a distinctive limp.

PC Adam Howard from Worcester CID said: “We want to hear from anyone who saw these two males leaving the house or walking towards the bus stop and we are also interested in identifying the female who was seen waiting at the bus stop.”
