SLIMY, gooey, gunge coated runners during an action packed weekend of racing at Eastnor Castle.

Thousands of runners took part in the weekend's races and were either covered in mud or gunge as the Mud Runner Oblivion added a new race concept to the line up by introducing The Gunge Run.

People of all ages joined in the 5km fun run and dived into different coloured gunge pits at every kilometre.

There were 6,000 runners taking part in four races over the weekend and 1,700 camping overnight.

Two Junior Oblivion races took place over the weekend for children aged between five and 5 years old.

The final race to take place over the busy weekend was the Adult Mud Runner Oblivion which is a tough and challenging 10km race.

Oblivion uses the same extreme tracks that Land Rover use to test their vehicles, interspersed with some exhilarating obstacles and lots of mud.
