RESIDENTS in a picturesque village near Worcester will welcome visitors to their gardens in aid of a city hospice later this month.
Homes throughout Wichenford will open their gardens on Saturday, June 20 and the following day as part of a popular event held every other year to raise money for St Richard’s Hospice and other village organisations.
For a one-off £5 donation visitors will be able to wander around at least 23 gardens as well as enjoying stalls and refreshments.
Village resident Alan Green said: “Everyone has been working incredibly hard to ensure the gardens are in tip top condition and make a splendid show.
“Visitors come from all over and we are determined to give them a wonderful weekend.”
The event will run from 11am until 6pm on both days.
