The incident happened today (Wednesday 27) at around 12.40am on the Four Pools industrial estate.

Offenders targeted eight vehicles by forcibly removing their fuel caps and drilling into the tanks in an attempt to obtain fuel, causing between £5,000 to £6,000 worth of damage.

Despite these efforts, only a very small amount of fuel was stolen, as the vehicles targeted were being advertised for sale and did not contain much fuel.
