A PHOTOGRAPHER has made the most of the sunny spring weather before the April showers arrive again at the weekend.

Jan Sedlacek, from Digitlight Photography based in Malvern, has been out and about taking beautiful pictures which capture the best of the unseasonably warm spring.

And they might serve as a reminder of what we have been enjoying when the weather takes a turn for the worst on Friday with rain showers predicted through the weekend.

Pershore-based weatherman Ian Michaelwaite said: "Our lovely spring is about to descend into typical April weather."

Mr Sedlacek has spent the last two weeks picturing Worcestershire in the glorious spring weather.

He said: "It was a quiet, misty, sunny morning with no wind.

"Normally I would go up on the Malvern Hills to capture the mist but there was a lot of haze and the view wasn't clear enough for types of shots I was after so I headed down closer to the mist.

"After while I ended up close to Little Malvern Court right on the edge of the mist.

"As there was no wind there was an overwhelming mixture scents from all flowers, trees and bushes in bloom.

"It was one of those mornings to remember, choosing the right location for the photo shoot treated me with great joy for all my senses.

"Spring in full swing together with such a lovely weather we have provides some wonderful opportunities for all keen photographers and outdoor lovers.

"And I am definitely one of those."

But it may soon all be just happy memories for Mr Sedlacek with a return to April showers and the weather dropping to 8C on Sunday while next week it is predicted to be a mixture of sunshine and showers.
