A CHILDMINDER who runs her business from her Malvern home is delighted to have been classified as outstanding in her latest Ofsted report.

Charlie Lunn founded Charlie's House in Knapp Way back in 2008 as a sole childminder, but since then she has expanded the operation and now employs four people.

And all of them were delighted with the glowing report they have received following an Ofsted inspection late last year. The outstanding rating is the highest that inspectors can award.

"We were just so pleased," said Mrs Lunn, aged 36. "We can't believe how good the report is and how many good things it says about us."

The report says that children "thrive and have a wonderful time" at the centre, which provides "exemplary" care. The only suggestion for improvement is for enhancement of the "already excellent" outdoor facilities.

Mrs Lunn said: "I really could not have done it without my staff. Everyone brings their own interests and we all learn from each other."
