A mother says she is pleased with the outcome of a ticket dispute, after her daughter-who suffers with special needs- was turned off a bus.
Wishing to remain anonymous, the woman who is in her 40s, was told to get off at Upton, despite having an all day ticket.
She wished to travel to Welland, having already come from Worcester.
Her mother contacted your Gazette, and has since received an apology from bus company First, which also gave her daughter six all-day tickets for free, to use whenever she wants.
She said: "I didn't know where else to turn after it happened after contacting First, but I'm really happy with the help the Gazette provided.
"I'm also pleased with what First have done. My daughter is OK about it all, and now has six free journeys to take as she pleases, so thanks go to them too."
A spokesman for First said: "It is always concerning to hear of a circumstance when a customer is not satisfied with the service we are providing.
"On this occasion, after providing a full explanation into the actions of our driver and apologising for the inconvenience caused, I am pleased to hear that the customers are satisfied with our response"
