THIRTEEN brave men have stripped off and bared all for a fundraising calendar.

The men, who are all employed at Malvern Splash Leisure Complex, have gone naked and donned moustaches to pose for a calendar to highlight Movember — a fundraising and awareness campaign that focusses on men's health.

Mark Cawthorne, fitness manager at Malvern Splash, said it was "great fun" taking part.

"We usually do something for Movember and this year we wanted to do something different. We posted on our Facebook page saying that if we got 100 'likes' on our status we would do a naked calendar. We got more than that, and then it really dawned on us that we were actually going to have to do this," he said.

"It was quite funny because my office is right next to the gym, and in the run up to us taking the pictures for the calendar I noticed a number of the men taking part using the gym for last minute 'panic workouts' to make sure they were looking their best.

"We were all quite nervous when the day came, but once the first man had done it we all got more comfortable and just had a brilliant laugh with it. It was really good fun."

The calendars can be bought for £10 by reserving one from Malvern Splash on Priory Road or by contacting the team via the Everyone Active Malvern Splash Facebook page.

The Movember Foundation challenges men to grow moustaches during November to spark conversation and raise vital funds for its men’s health programs, which tackle health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer as well as mental health.
