WOMEN in Worcestershire are being asked to ditch the makeup and go "bearfaced" to raise money for BBC Children in Need.

The charity launched the BearFaced campaign across the UK yesterday (Friday) for the third time. The idea is that women join the celebs in having a #BearFaced moment to raise money for BBC Children in Need, simply by swapping their makeup for a Pawprint.

This year’s line-up includes three-time BAFTA TV Award winner, Olivia Colman; singer and presenter Rochelle Humes; TV favourites Lorraine Kelly and Michelle Keegan; singer and model, Sophie Ellis-Bextor; singers Laura Mvula and Ella Eyre, and renowned beauty blogger, Tanya Burr. All have gone BearFaced in a make-up free photo-shoot by world renowned photographer, Rankin, to encourage women across the UK to come together to do the same.

In 2014, the BearFaced campaign encourages women across the UK to share a make-up free moment anytime in the run up to appeal day on Friday, November 14.

This year, for the first time since the campaign began, celebrities are also being joined by women from across the UK who work in, or have been supported by the projects BBC Children in Need fund. The project workers hail from all corners of the UK and work in projects that make a difference to the lives of disadvantaged children and young people across the UK. Also joining the campaign are two colleagues from Boots UK, both of whom are long-time supporters of BBC Children in Need, supporting local projects and leading on fundraising in their areas.

Participants are encouraged to share their BearFaced moment at bbc.co.uk/pudsey and be a part of the Big BearFaced Selfie. Find out more at bbc.co.uk/pudsey
