A MALVERN man is undergoing a somewhat painful ordeal to raise money for mental health.
Harry Green, of Great Malvern, is set to have his legs waxed next week, to raise money for the charity Mentor Link.
The 23 year-old recently completed a two-week course with the National Citizen's Service (NCS), and now wants to give something back.
He said: "The NCS took us away and I had a great time doing all sorts of activities, but now I want to give something back and help people.
"I'm looking forward to it, hopefully it doesn't hurt too much."
The charity's aim is to provide one-to-one support for children who may be facing difficulties by providing them with a volunteer, mentor or counsellor.
He will be having legs waxed at the Malvern Hair and Beauty Emporium, in Malvern Link, on Saturday, September 13.
