A DRIVER escaped injury despite colliding with a fence panel in Malvern, near The Splash Leisure Centre.
A black Audi A1 careered into the fencing at around 2pm today (Tuesday, August 5) in Priory Road car park,outside The Splash.
It was confirmed by a police spokesman that the Audi was the only vehicle involved, after it mounted the pavement and collided with the fencing.
Two officers attended the scene, and the driver has been interviewed for driving without due care and attention.
The motorist did pass a roadside breath test, which was taken at the scene.
A spokesman for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said the force received a call at 2.09pm, with two crews from Malvern attending to make the car safe.
No persons were trapped in the vehicle and there were no injuries.
The car park was temporarily closed, but the road remained open.
