AROUND three ounces of cannabis has been seized after a drug warrant was executed in Malvern.
The Pickersleigh Safer Neighbourhood Team executed the warrant, and found the cannabis bush at a house in Elgar Avenue concealed in a cupboard.
According to the Independent Drug Monitoring Unit's website, the quantity is roughly around £300 in value.
PC Dave Wise, of Pickersleigh Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "This is another warrant that wouldn't have been possible without the support of the community reporting suspicious activity to the police.
"We would encourage anyone with information to contact their local policing team or report it anonymously to crimestoppers."
The tennant was not home when the raid went ahead at around 11am today (Tuesday, August 5), and a lock snapper was used to gain entry.
Also at the address was a carrera mountain bike which was stolen the previous week, which has now been returned to its owner.
PC Wise said: "We have not yet been able to make contact with the tenant although when we do he will be interviewed regarding both matters, the drugs and the stolen bicycle".
