AN 11-year-old drama student who attends a Malvern stage school has seen her dreams of stardom come a step closer when she appeared in a Disney video.
Jemima Willcox, of Stagecoach Theatre Arts Malvern, was chosen out of 300 applicants to be in the video for famous pop singer Natasha Bedingfield,
The singer was performing Who Am I, which is on the soundtrack of the new Disney movie Tinker Bell and the Pirate Fairy.
Jemima, who attends Kempsey Primary School, had a movie-inspired make-over, was taught the dance steps and then filmed for the music video which has now been aired on the Disney Channel.
Stagecoach principal Jay Birchley said: "Jemima is an extremely hardworking student who demonstrates a high level of commitment and enthusiasm. She is a natural talent and has a bright future in performing arts ahead of her.
Stagecoach Malvern runs at Dyson Perrins High School every Saturday morning. Its most famous student is singer Cher Lloyd.
