THE Chase School said farewell to two members of staff who have between them served the school for 40 years.
The school's summer term ended with a party to say goodbye to Annie Williams, deputy head for 21 years, and Mitzi Janes, the school's support staff manager for 19.
Mike Woods, the school's director of sixth form, said: "Both colleagues have been members of the Chase's senior leadership team throughout this time.
"The party went extremely well with well over a hundred people enjoying a ceilidh and hog roast. Colleagues joined together on the last day of term to wish Annie and Mitzi well as they embark upon very active retirement schedules."
