THE fun of a festival is coming to Suckley School on Friday.
Youngsters at the school have spent the summer term working hard towards putting on the festival, the Suckley Chill, which will take place on Friday, July 18.
The main aim of the event on the Suckley playing field is to bring the community together and has been the brain child of Nina Stone, class 2 teacher.
But the children have done their fair share by contacting suppliers, bands and stall holders to take part in the festival.
They have designed tickets, tee-shirts, posters and goods to sell and have been working hard on their own performances.
During the event, which will run from 5pm until 9pm, children will be performing poetry reading, story telling and Horrible History plays.
The children have also secured the attendance of Savage Skills, a mountain bike, trials and BMX extreme free style display team to perform at the Suckley Chill for free.
