THE Downs School in Colwall is the venue for a summer charity fundraising gig next Saturday, June 28.
Live music will be provided by classic covers band Amplified and proceeds will be split between four good causes: Colwall Doctors' Surgery Patient Equipment Fund, Fort Royal Special Needs School, Worcester, The Haven Breast Care Centre, Hereford, and Funny Blood.
As well as the band, there will be a disco and local ales and ciders will be on sale, and there will be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses.
Organisers say the concert will be a great night to finish the Colwall Ale House Festival that kicks off tomorrow (Saturday) with a food and drink fair, and continues with events running throughout the week, celebrating village life and local food.
Tickets are £10, available in advance from Isis Boutique in Church Street, Malvern, from 07701 041954, or on the door.
