A GIRL is recovering after she was knocked over by a car in Welland, near Malvern.
The girl, aged 13, was knocked over by the car in Gloucester Road, Welland at 3.50pm on Friday. When the emergency services arrived she was conscious and breathing and her condition stabilised by paramedics. Police have managed to make contact with one independent witness. The girl was taken by air ambulance to Birmingham Children's Hospital. A spokesman for West Mercia Police said an update about her health was received at 10pm that same evening. The girl had a broken shoulder, a minor head injury and some nerve damage.
