AN award-winning band are preparing to play on one of the world's most famous stages.
Malvern's BabaJack have confirmed two of their biggest shows to date, including a concert at the Royal Albert Hall on Thursday, October 30 as part of Blues Fest 2014.
The blues inspired group, who are made up of Becky Tate, Trevor Steger, Tosh Murase and Adam Bertenshaw, are part of the daytime session as the festival brings a world class line-up, including Van Morrison and Elvis Costello, to the prestigious London venue.
Prior to this they will be stepping out in support of classic rockers Status Quo, complete with founder members Francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt, at Clumber Park, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, on Friday, August 15.
Becky is eagerly anticipating both gigs, even though she isn't quite sure what to expect from either.
"We can tick that off the life achievement list - my God, it's a hell of a ticket to get that one. We were just blown away, I can't quite believe it."
The grand occasion could even be witness to the airing of some new material as they continue to develop as a touring and recording four-piece.
"The new album is starting to take shape and there's a whole new palette of sound to work with. I feel absolutely sure there will be new songs."
On supporting Status Quo at the National Trust parkland, she added: "We are very different to them. I am fascinated to meet them and see them in action.
"What ever they have been doing they have been doing it really well for such a long time."
BabaJack are also aiming to emerge victorious at the British Blues Awards for the third year running, with the band nominated in the acoustic category while Trevor and Becky are shortlisted for the harmonica and instrumentalist categories respectively.
Voting closes on Monday, June 30.
Their next local date is at the inaugural Upton Food and Beer Festival in Fish Meadow on Saturday, June 28.
