A DAY'S possession of a classic Morgan sports car is the top prize in a fundraising raffle organised by a Malvern-based charity.

The draw has been organised by Kaleidoscope Breakaway, which provides day care in Malvern for pre-school children with special needs.

The charity will be celebration its 20th birthday this autumn, and the fundraising raffle is one of the ways it will be marking the anniversary.

Diana Maiden, a founder of Kaleidoscope, said: "Parents of any young child need a break sometimes, but when a child has significant needs, it is physically and mentally exhausting.

"Kaleidoscope enables parents to spend a day's quality time with each other or siblings, knowing their child is being looked after and entertained.

"Kaleidoscope is entirely dependent on donations to cone our costs, as we only ask parents to make a minimum contribution each time.

"We're delighted that Morgan has donated the use of one of their beautiful cars for the day, and we hope that lots of people will support us."

Morgan has also donated the runner-up prize, a tour of the Pickersleigh Road factory where the cars are hand-made using a mix of traditional and high-tech skills.

The winning tickets will be drawn at the Morgan stand at the Royal Three Counties Show on Sunday, June 15, at noon.

Tickets are available from Mrs Maiden on 01684 565204 or 07792 150682.
