TV antiques expert Philip Serrell was the guest of honour when developer McCarthy and Stone opened its newest assisted living development in Malvern.
Philip, who owns his own auctioneers' business in Malvern, was joined by staff and homeowners at Cartwright Court, off Church Street for the opening ceremony.
He hosted a special game, where he produced weird and wacky artefacts, including a wooden sheep’s leg and a glass eyeball, and guests had to guess the value.
Gill Sabin of McCarthy and Stone said: “This ceremony signalled an important milestone for the development, and we were delighted to have someone of Philip’s stature here to help us mark the occasion in style.
"The day was a huge success and we look forward to welcoming visitors living in and around Malvern to the development to have a look around.”
