AN Art Deco venue is staging an unmissable new production after investing in new equipment.
The Regal in Tenbury Wells will stage Tim Whitnall's Olivier Award-winning play Morecambe (Live on Stage) on Sunday, June 1 as the national tour stops off at the intimate venue for one night only.
It stars the Olivier-nominated Bob Golding as comedy icon Eric Morecambe in a moving, often hilarious tale about one of Britain’s best-loved entertainers.
General manager Ian Little said: "The Regal aims to entertain Tenbury and the surrounding area with as diverse a programme as possible.
"We have had to invest in additional equipment to be able to stage this show, but want to bring the very best live entertainment to town."
Audience members will be taken from his humble beginnings in Music Hall to a performance in front of 28 million television viewers on Christmas Day.
The show starts at 7.30pm and tickets are £17 (£16 concessions).
