PUPILS at a Malvern school want to find out more about the names recorded on their war memorial.
The memorial at Somers Park Primary School - formerly the Malvern Link Council School - gives the names of six former scholars who were killed during the First World War.
With the centenary of the war's start this year, pupils are keen to find out anything they can about the men whose names are on the memorial.
In particular, they would like to find out if any of the men still have family in the area and, if so, do they hold any information, service records or photographs they could share with the school.
Tim Swallow, of the school's governors, said: "Any information we could get will have a great impact on the learning and understanding of the pupils and would be gratefully received."
