Elizabeth Hurley has revealed the future of her mansion home near Ledbury is 'up in the air' after speaking for the first time about her split from Australian cricketer Shane Warne.

The actress and businesswoman, 48, who has posed in a swimsuit from her new collection, said she continues to be fond of her ex-fiance.

In an interview with Hello! magazine, Hurley said: "Love isn't a switch that you can turn on or off at will and of course I still love him - we are part of each other's history."

She and the 44-year-old Australian cricketer turned commentator had been dating for three years.

Hurley said: "We finally parted ways in November (2013) and it was a very sad time for both of us.

"I struggled for a while but feel in a very good place today. In fact, both professionally and personally everything is blooming."

The future of the 13-bedroom property they had been renovating, Donnington Hall near Ledbury, is still "up in the air" she said.

Hurley is now dating hedge fund tycoon turned wildlife photographer David Yarrow, whom she calls "a man of integrity and charm and who, incidentally, cooks roast potatoes to rival those of my father".

But she said she and Warne's families remain in touch.

"We've been putting together Mac photobooks of some of the great holidays we all spent together and have very happy memories."

Hurley is preparing to appear in US TV series The Royals, and will soon be appearing in the movie Viktor alongside Gerard Depardieu, as well as launching her latest swimwear range which she says is aimed at making women "feel confident and special on holiday".

She said she often wears an "itsy-bitsy bikini" on holiday but added: "Mind you, there's a great deal of self-action tanning going on first and a fair amount of strategic sarong wrapping".
