WORCESTER Festival returns for 2014 with a programme of events offering more diversity, creativity and fun than ever before.
The festival runs from Saturday, August 9 to Monday, August 25 and members of the community can register their own events until Friday, May 9, ensuring they are officially listed for all to see.
Its events and activities are programmed by the festival’s artistic director, Ben Humphrey, and it is a great opportunity for individuals, groups or organisations to put something on themselves and be included in the festival event guide.
Festival regulars can expect all of the festival favourites this year, including Percy the Peacock, the Funky Faces Face Painters, the artists’ market, the Gugge 2000 band, the Swan Theatre summer fête, and the free fireworks finale.
Many new and exciting events will also feature alongside the professional and community events.
For more information and to register, go to worcesterfestival.co.uk or call festival administrator Liz Grand on 01905 611427.
