WOMEN in Worcestershire living with cancer are being invited to a special cosmetics session helping them combat the signs of the disease and boost their self-esteem.
The Look Good Feel Better ‘masterclass’ will be held from 11am until 1pm on Monday, April 28 at Boots in the High Street.
The session run in partnership with Boots and Macmillan Cancer Support will see beauty experts take patients through a number of tips to help them disguise the signs of their treatment.
A poll by Macmillan Cancer Support found 81 per cent of people with cancer felt the physical side-effects had damaged their self esteem and 64 per cent were unsure of how to disguise the signs of the illness.
