AMERICAN singer and composer James Apollo is coming to the Marr's Bar, Pierpont Street, Worcester, for a gig on Sunday, April 27 and he is known for creating emotionally textured soundscapes, gaining comparisons to William Faulkner, Tom Waits, and classic sounds of the west.
Support comes from Worcester's own Howard James Kenny, who uses a variety of loops and effects to orchestrate songs that evoke vivid emotions.
Usually seen playing with the instrumental two-piece, the Broken Oak Duet, Howard will mix folk, classical, experimental and popular
music in a rare solo outing.
Entry is free and doors open at 8pm.
