PERSHORE Town Council said they will not suggest any more sites suitable for homes as part of the growing South Worcestershire Development Plan.
The people behind the plan, which needs to increase by about 5,000 homes across the three districts of Wychavon, Malvern and Worcester, have been asking local people and authorities to suggest possible new sites for homes.
But councillors at Pershore said the town is already set to take on many more homes than it was earmarked for in the first version of the emerging plan.
Cllr Derek Watt said: "I think we have enough proposals to keep us going for a long time."
Cllr Chris Parsons added: "I think it's worth saying that we are already faced with more than was originally planned so could that not be interpreted that we have had more than our share."
