ANYONE wanting to stand in the Malvern Hills Conservators' election for the village of Mathon is urged to get their nomination in as soon as possible.
The election is not until Thursday, May 15, but candidates have to put their names forward by noon on Tuesday, April 15.
Board members have a duty to ensure that the Conservators fulfil their duties, laid down in Acts of Parliament, and ensure the charity is well run, solvent and meets its charitable objectives.
Director Stephen Bound said: "We are always looking to ensure that we have the right mix of skills and experience on the board. with this in mind we would love to receive nominations for candidates with a financial, human resources, communications or fundraising background."
He said Conservators do not receive any allowances or expenses for attending meetings of the board.
Nomination forms are available from the Conservators' office in Grange Road,Malvern. The offoce can also be contacted on 01684 892002 or conservators@malvernhills.org.uk.
