MALVERN supporters of ChildLine raised £618 at its annual Quiz and Chips night - the highest total ever.
The evening, at Lyttelton Well, Church Street, was fully booked with 12 teams of six taking part.
Chairman Colin Butler said: “The support was wonderful. Sadly we had to turn down some last-minute bookings on the day because we were totally full.”
The winning team at the event on Saturday, March 30, was Chips are Down with The Morgan in second place and Simple Simon in third. The winning team was presented with certificates and a bottle of bubbly.
Malvern and Three Counties Friends of ChildLine wants to thank everyone who supported the event including the contestants, Barnards Green Fish Bar and the Lyttleton Well.
