AN independent school in Hereford has been given a glowing report by the Independent Schools Inspectorate.
Inspectors found Hereford Cathedral School and Hereford Cathedral Junior School to be excellent in all categories - academic and other achievements, pupils' personal development and the effectiveness of governance, leadership and management.
Paul Smith, the school's headmaster said: “We are delighted that the hard work of pupils, staff and governors has been acknowledged in these two 'excellent' ISI reports.”
“I have always had complete confidence and belief in the quality of education and the outstanding experience our pupils receive and it is fantastic that the inspection teams recognise, as I do, just how special Hereford Cathedral School is.”
He added the schools had come a long way since the last ISI inspection and the report was a testament to hard work across the junior and senior school.
