A TEAM of sports coaches had a spring in their step as they bounced their way to a space hopper challenge.

Members of Malvern's Zig Zag Coaching hopped to it by covering the two miles between Sport Dyson Perrins at Dyson Perrins CE Academy, Yates Hay Road, to Malvern Town Football Club's Langland Stadium in aid of Sport Relief.

Using the inflatable rubber bouncers as their means of transport, Jodie Williams, Ted Grizzell, Luke Norman, Rafe Turner and Jade Allard, who said the challenge was "very, very tiring", were able to collect more than £250 for the sporting cause on Tuesday, March 18.

Setting off at 7.30pm the team were able to reach the Langland Avenue-based stadium in time to take part in the football club's quiz at 8.30pm.

Sport Relief takes place every two years and the British public are encouraged to get active, have fun and raise cash to help people living incredibly tough lives both in the UK and around the world by running, swimming or cycling.
