MALVERN "mum-preneur" Paula Trafford got her hands on a major accolade at the Neal’s Yard Organic Remedies National Gala Awards Ceremony in Birmingham. The mother of three from Jamaica Road, Malvern Link, who is a multi-complementary and pilates exercise therapist, picked up a new business builder award for developing her own company and maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

“Gaining recognition for my efforts from such a prestigious ethical British company as Neal’s Yard is a real boost to my confidence and a vindication of all the hours I’ve given to building my own vision into a reality. If I can do it, so can other mums," said Mrs Trafford. "My aim has always been to integrate high quality, organic products into my complementary therapy treatments and pilates exercise therapy classes in Malvern and Upton. I’m happy to say I’ve been managing to do that very successfully for a couple of years now. It doesn’t have to be all about the bottom line and cut-throat competition. Business run on an ethical basis, such as mine and Neal’s Yard Organic Remedies, boosting the local and national economies, works brilliantly with high-quality products, sustainability and integrity. Clients tell me they really enjoy long-term benefits from what I do and that is what it’s actually all about.”
