BOOK-lovers in Malvern are warned that the town's library will be closing down next week to allow the local job centre to move in.
Regular visitors will know that work to alter the interior of the library on Graham Road have been carried out for a number of weeks, while the library has remained open.
But from Tuesday, March 18, library services will be unavailable until Monday, March 24. However, the building will remain accessible, and the Worcestershire Hub will be open as normal from 9am to 5pm on Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 9.30pm to 5pm on Wednesday.
The cafe on the lower ground floor will also be open from Tuesday to Friday but will close on Saturday, March 22. Adult learning classes will also run as normal during the closure period.
The nearest alternative libraries are at St John's and the Hive in Worcester, and at Upton.
