A TEENAGER has been treated for serious injuries after her car overturned in a crash near Evesham.
An ambulance, a paramedic in a rapid response car and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Strensham went to a field near the Flyford Arms, Old Hill, near Flyford Flavell just before 8am.
A West Midlands Ambulance Service spokesman said: “On arrival, crews discovered a car had overturned several times before coming to rest in a field.
“The driver, believed to be 19-years-old, had extricated herself from the vehicle before the emergency services arrived.
“Crews treated her for a serious head laceration, neck pain and a fractured wrist.
“After being fully immobilised as a precaution, with the use of a neck collar and spinal board, she was assessed and airlifted to the Alexandra Hospital in Redditch.
“The helicopter landed next to the incident in a field.”
