A WOMEN'S World Day of Prayer service is taking place in Upton Parish Church at 2pm on Friday, March 7.
The service has been written by the women of Egypt and has particular relevance this year, not just because of the country's political situation but also because Chris Lamb, who is organising the Upton service, has a daughter and son-in-law working in Egypt.
The service will last about an hour and children from Upton Primary school are taking part.
Everyone is welcome to attend.
