ENJOY a sophisticated evening of cocktails, canapés and cabaret as a long-running all-female organisation celebrates 65 years.

The Inner Wheel Club of Malvern is marking its blue sapphire anniversary with a glamorous show featuring Dominic Mattos as Ethel Merman singing songs from Irving Berlin and Cole Porter at Worcestershire Golf Club, Woodfarm Road, Malvern Wells.

They are hosting the event from 7.30pm on Saturday, June 7 in aid of the Ease the Pain campaign for Malvern Community Hospital and other Inner Wheel charities.

Dominic is a cabaret entertainer, writer and publisher and his gimmick is he is a high countertenor, which means he covers the same vocal range as a soprano.

With his Ethel Merman act he has appeared at London's premier cabaret venue the Pheasantry and at the Edinburgh Fringe, as well as at the Oxford Playhouse, the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre, the 1,200-seater Blackpool Grand and the Metropolitan Room in New York.

Tickets are £17.50 per person and the club hope to fill tables of eight.
