A BURGLAR stole two luggage bags and their contents worth almost £3,000 during broad daylight.

The offender took a small black suitcase and a black shoulder bag with a BMW logo from porch of a property in Fairwater Close, Evesham, between 9am and 9.30am on Monday while the occupant was in another part of the house.

Their contents have been valued at £2,790 and included a distinctive Jack Wills yellow and burgundy stripped blazer worth £375, a pair of Jeff West brown ankle boots size 11 worth £325, a U-BOAT Classico limited edition watch with a cream face and brown leather strap worth £1,700, a Garmin SatNav valued at £90 and a Blackberry Curve mobile phone valued at £80.

DC Dan Fenn, of Worcester Proactive CID, said: “We are very keen to hear from anyone who saw a stranger in Fairwater Close or saw someone pulling a small wheeled suitcase and carrying a black shoulder bag.

“Anyone who has been offered any of the items described is asked to contact us immediately.”
