A CHARITY supporting vulnerable adults across Worcestershire is calling for more volunteers.

Onside Independent Advocacy helps about 2,000 people throughout the county suffering from physical or mental health problems, causing them difficulties in their daily lives.

The charity, which is based in Charles Street, Worcester, needs volunteers to help people provide supportive relationships to socially isolated people and others who may be marginalised.

The charity’s volunteer coordinator Claire Watkins said: “Our volunteers give their time, their passion and enthusiasm.

“We need continued help from willing volunteers who would enjoy supporting vulnerable people in their local community.”

Volunteering opportunities are available from a little as four hours a month and volunteers can work towards an Open College Network qualification.
