THE RESULTS of this year's Christmas Tree Festival, held by Daisychain Benevolent Fund, are in with thousands raised for charity along the way.
The five week festival gave organisations and businesses across Herefordshire and Worcestershire the opportunity to design and display a tree at Worcester Cathedral, with members of the public voting for their favourite.
Worcester College of Technology won the competition, with the festival raising £3,000 which is being split between Worcester Cathedral and nominated charities-,The Teenage Cancer Trust and the Riverbank's Children Ward at Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
Debbie Morris, of the Worcester College of Technology, said: "We are thrilled to have won, and couldn't have done it without the diverse learners we have here at the college who made the decorations.
"The competition was great fun and the result was amazing."
There was also a quiz for children, which was won by nine year old Sophie Earle, of Worcester.
