A LOCAL award winning community based care and support provider has been chosen to deliver care and support at Clarence Park Village, the new Festival Housing development in Malvern for the over 55’s .

Radis Community Care, which already provides support to vulnerable adults across Worcestershire from its base in the town's Worcester Road, will supply care staff at the village 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. The company recently won care employer of the year at the national Great British Care Awards.

Clarence Park Village, which is due to open in the summer, is a development of 101 properties and will include a restaurant, a bar and coffee shop, a gym and beauty salon, an IT suite, a library and a range of other communal facilities.

Deepesh Patel, director at Radis Community Care, said: "We have been delivering support in the home to hundreds of vulnerable people across Worcestershire for many years and we are really pleased to have been chosen to work with both Festival Housing and Worcestershire County Council on this exciting new project.

"The emphasis on ‘community’ is something that we feel passionately about and we are looking forward to getting started and meeting the new residents."
