COUNCILLORS have been given a sneak preview of how work is progressing at a £20 million housing development.
The councillors joined planning officers fromMalvern Hills District Council to view Festival Housing’s flagship scheme Clarence Park Village off Worcester Road in Malvern.
Work on the 101 apartments at the state-of-the-art complex, one of the town's largest developments, is due to be completed this summer.
"I am thrilled by the quality, standard and design of Clarence Park Village; it is a trailblazer for the county and a valuable addition to Malvern," said Councillor Val Myatt, who represents the Pickersleigh area of the town.
"I hope the next development by Festival will be as good as this one."
The event was a chance for people to take a look at the newly-built show apartments.
The development will create 30 jobs with the apartments available to rent, part-buy or buy.
