LESS than half of the people who went to one of Worcestershire’s three A&E departments on Thursday, January 16 were admitted to hospital.
The figures showing only 114 of the 380 people who visited Worcestershire Royal Hospital, Kidderminster Hospital and Redditch’s Alexandra Hospital needed emergency care were revealed as part of the Is A&E For Me? campaign, aiming to reduce the strain on emergency departments across the country.
