POLICE are making a fresh appeal for witnesses after a woman was robbed in broad daylight by two teenage girls last month.

The incident happened at about 1.30pm on Saturday, December 7, in an alleyway between Cales Avenue and Leigh Sinton Road, Malvern.

The woman was grabbed by the two girls, who demanded her wallet. She handed over the wallet, which contained about £80, and the girls ran off towards Cales Avenue.

The girls are thought to be aged about 14 and about five feet two or three inches tall.

One is described as having long peroxide-blonde hair with dark roots, slim, heavily made up, wearing white or light clothing and small light blue shoes or ballet pumps.

The second girl had dark brown hair loosely tied up, and is described as slim, with not as much make-up as the first girl and wearing a dark coat, trainers and flourescent yellow gloves.

A police spokesman said: “This was quite a frightening incident and we want to hear from anyone who saw two girls of this description, or from anyone who knows these two girls.”
