HIGH winds brought down 30 trees across Worcestershire yesterday.
Contractors from Worcestershire County Council are on standby to deal with problems caused by the bad weather and are urging motorists to take care.
A spokesman from the council said: "We responded to any problems as they arose from the forecasted heavy rainfall and high winds.
“We'll be constantly monitoring the situation on our roads, with officers and contractors ready to work should any further problems arise over the festive period. We'd echo the advice to drivers being sent out by our partners.
“Please take care on the roads and stay safe."
