CHILDREN at Leigh and Bransford Primary School took to footpaths in the surrounding countryside as part of a pre-Christmas fitness drive.
About 60 youngsters, from the school’s years three to six, donned seasonal garb for a cross-country run.
Headteacher Stuart Bill said: “It was less of a run than a power jog from the school to Bransford Chapel.”
