Special profile for our Very Malvern Christmas campaign
Some readers may already know Sara and Nigel Morris who own and run Malvern post office, but may not realise that they also run Colwall post office and Rhubarb, the new gift shop in Church Street.
The couple moved to Malvern 19 years ago with their two sons when they took on the post officeand planned to stay for three years but loved it so much they stayed.
Sara and Nigel said: “We have such a wonderful mix of customers it never really feels like work. It’s pretty sociable and often a bit silly!
“We do work long hours but that goes with the territory and we are very lucky indeed to have such great staff who make life so much easier.
“With the build-up to Christmas upon us we are already very busy and have been running 10 per cent off shopping events in our new shop Rhubarb.
“These have been a great chance to have a chinwag with customers over a glass of wine or two. The next one will be on the Wednesday, December 18, from 5.30pm- 7.30pm. Pop along – we’d love to see you.
“We will also be opening on Sundays in December.”
Recent visitors to the post office in Great Malvern will have noticed that it has undergone big changes with an open-plan post office counter, which has made for a more pleasant and friendly experience.
The post office has extended its opening times and is now open for business all day on Saturdays from 9am- 5.30pm, as well as Monday to Friday from 9am-5.30pm.
There is also a fantastic selection of chocolate from a huge Thorntons section.
There is a vast choice of Christmas cards all picked out by Sara as well as a Gisella Graham Christmas table laden with beautiful glass baubles and decoration., not forgetting all of the other gifts including jellycat, candles, handcreams ang lots more.
